Integrated Design Studio 6
Spring 2023
Taught By: Otto von Busch
Section: A
CRN: 3170
Credits: 3
A rigorous, research driven two-part and year long studio intended to develop each student’s ability to recognize and isolate significant social challenges, issues, and opportunities in the classroom, the New School, New York City, and other relevant contexts to conclusively develop and defend approaches to engaging with these issues through the formation of a statement and capstone project (with a supporting work plan). It is expected that the work done during both semesters 5 and 6 will integrate and advance the culminated results from a student’s Integrated Design Studio sequence, required program specific courses, and those courses found in the pathway.
