Through short exercises, readings, and the development of your thesis essay, you will explore creative strategies to clarify your ideas, express your artistic voice, and situate your work within the broader contemporary field. You will also learn to write for professional contexts—developing artist statements, bios, CVs, and proposals for grants and fellowships.
