Accepting the Ridiculous
Spring 2024
Taught By: Jean E. Taylor
Section: A

CRN: 14577

Credits: 2

Theatrical clown offers students an opportunity to embrace, through openness and humor, their unique ridiculousness. The acceptance of the less than perfect helps us bring our full humanity to the forefront and can transform our habits of restriction into freer and flexible expression. Learning to embody vulnerability and resilience in playful balance encourages the discovery of new perspectives about ourselves as performers and collaborators.
