This course is designed to provide the student with the tools and vocabulary to talk through issues of race when reading, rehearsing and performing plays with strong racial content. The work will include critical readings of plays and texts about race. Exercises will be used as a medium to facilitate a deeper understanding of the importance and the actors responsibility.
