The focus of this class is to provide students with the fundamentals of writing for television and new media (web series, verticals). Building off STORY (TPRC 5200), students will learn how to create a pitch for a TV series, outline comedy and drama pitches, and craft pilots. The goal is to understand the basics of television story structure by writing a half-hour comedy and an hour-long drama pilot by the end of the semester.
