In this course, a prominent guest artist is invited to either restage an existing work or to create a new work with students. This year the course will be led by Donna Uchizono. Participants in the class engage in an intensive rehearsal process that culminates in a public performance. Residencies often include study of the guest artist's history and influences, including the social, political, and aesthetic contexts that have affected the artist's life and work. Audition required in order to receive permission to register.
