Digital Portfolio is a course for multi-hyphenate performance artists to synthesize the breadth of their artistry into a clear and dynamic online presence. This course looks at artistic self-identification and self-promotion through the creation, curation, and maintenance of an online portfolio/website, resumé, artist statement, and social media presence. As well as actual practice talking and writing about their work with consideration of real-life scenarios, especially interviews and grant writing. Ultimately, this class asks: What is the story of you as an artist and how do you communicate that to potential collaborators, employers, funders, and other vital participants in the arts who are looking to get to know you?
