This course will dive into the creation, collaboration, and necessary skills for a modern producer to thrive in the music business. Students in the course will write and produce their own works and receive feedback from their peers and instructors. The class will also cover the basics of song production, mixing and recording in a professional recording studio. Topics of discussion will include song structure and arrangement, production, current production techniques, mixing, and professional outboard gear.
