The devastation wrought to the environment is arguably one of the most pressing questions of our times. Drawing on the work of anti-colonial scholars, we will explore how colonialism often results in ecological devastation, and how understanding these two processes as intertwined can lead to more just solutions. What might we learn from various artistic and activist strategies? And can these be helpful in situating a new ecological imaginary? [Tracks C, M]
