A workshop-style Spanish-language undergraduate course for high intermediate to advanced students interested in pursuing theater, performance, and media arts. The course’s objective is to hone advanced-level Spanish language skills for public speaking, acting, and journalism. Reading and writing activities are also part of the course, where a variety of texts will be read and discussed, from a wide-range of countries, including Spain and throughout Latin America. The course focuses on developing students’ creative interests, from playwriting to dramatic exercises, particularly, scene acting, diction practice, and other projects aimed at improving oral and writing skills in Spanish.
