Interior Design Studio 1 introduces students to the foundational elements of the design process, guiding them through key interior design concepts such as spatial relationships, form, program, materials, textiles, decorative arts, and lighting. Through a series of design and analytical projects, students will explore both inventive and conceptual approaches to interior design. The course emphasizes developing skills in representation techniques, enabling students to clearly communicate their design ideas to clients and viewers, while gaining an understanding of how these core elements shape interior environments.
