Thesis Seminar

The thesis design studio and seminar provide an opportunity to investigate and evaluate theoretical ideas developed in the thesis prep seminar and demonstrate their significance in a self-selected design project. The Studio portion will be like a design studio but will be a self-selected and self-directed project. Students work closely with primary thesis advisor in weekly meetings. In addition, professors and professionals inside and outside the Parsons faculty serve as secondary thesis advisors and guest critics. The Seminar portion will focus on the analytical written component of the thesis. Students will be guided by faculty to critically analyze, speculate and articulate the theoretical underpinnings of their thesis in writing. . .
