This capstone, self-directed design studio is the culmination of the thesis year within the MFA Interior Design Program. The thesis design studio provides an opportunity to further investigate and evaluate theoretical ideas developed in the thesis prep seminar by demonstrating their significance in a self-selected design project. Students will work closely with a primary thesis advisor in weekly meetings. In addition, select professors and professionals inside and outside the Parsons faculty will serve as secondary thesis advisors and guest critics. With the consent of the thesis committees, students may collaborate on a project with colleagues in architecture or lighting design.

Pre-requisite(s): PGID 5001 Design Studio 1, PGID 5101 Design Studio 2, PGID Design Studio 3. Open to: Masters Degree in Interior Design and Masters Degree in Interior Design and Lighting Design Double Major Only; Others by permission.
