In this course, students are introduced to the basics of jewelry and accessory making, with a special focus on accessible techniques and alternative outputs. Students will be introduced to the work of artists and designers who push the boundaries of art and jewelry making. After sketching their initial ideas based on a self-identified theme, students will develop ideas into 3D prototypes via basic modeling and production techniques. Students will be asked to experiment across a range of materials to finally create a project of jewelry or accessories.

Open to: All university undergraduate students. Seats have been reserved for BFA Integrated Design students in this section.
