How do you want to share your work? What presentation format and graphic styles best communicate your body of creative work, design philosophy, and aesthetic? Pursuit of these answers is the primary focus of this course, as students explore various strategies and methods for developing creative portfolio presentations for fashion. Students will research numerous communication design formats and graphic styles utilizing InDesign and a variety of design apps for creating blogs, websites, and short films, to establish a resolved portfolio presence. Projects focus on Mapping and Navigation as the underpinning for organizational structures; Imaging and Page Design to develop an array of creative layouts and graphic standards; Archiving, to establish sound technical acumen and editing skills; development of an “About” section to explore the professional biography, resume, self-portrait, and a designer statement; and creation of a resolved portfolio to reflect the unique voice of the designer.
