Students will research numerous communication design formats and graphic styles utilizing InDesign and a variety of design apps for creating blogs, websites, and short films, to establish a resolved portfolio presence. Projects focus on Mapping and Navigation as the underpinning for organizational structures; Imaging and Page Design to develop an array of creative layouts and graphic standards; Archiving, to establish sound technical acumen and editing skills; development of an “About” section to explore the professional biography, resume, self-portrait, and a designer statement; and creation of a resolved portfolio to reflect the unique voice of the designer.
