This lab provides production skills and processes to explore game design and playful objects from the point of hardware design. Students will be introduced to basic electronics, programming, and the design of interactivity by building simple electronic games and digital game interfaces with modern microcontrollers. Later in the semester, students will learn to setup proper communication between their custom game controllers and their digital applications to have a deeper dive in the relationship of software design and hardware design.
