This course deepens the foundational work of Intermediate Acting III for a deeper dive into classical text and a more expansive understanding of poetic form and rhetorical devices used in heightened prose and verse structures. With a focus on scene work, status, heightened stakes, and their manifestation via the lens of verse drama, this course extends the range of technical requirements encountered by the classical actor.
