This course deepens the work accomplished thus far in an actors' training for a deeper dive into classical text and a more expansive understanding of poetic form and rhetorical devices used in heightened prose and verse structures. With a focus on scene work, status, heightened stakes, and their manifestation via the lens of verse drama, this course extends the range of technical requirements encountered by the classical actor. The prerequisite for this course is TDRU 2330 Foundations in Acting 2.
